A nine-day-old baby girl tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Bhopal on Sunday, taking the total count in the city to 214 in the city.  She was born in Sultania Hospital, which has a recent history of  two hospital nurses earlier tested positive for the infectious disease. Her  parents also who have been tested for the novel coronavirus, and their reports are awaited.

The number of positive COVID-19 cases has increased to 1,407 in Madhya Pradesh including 72 deaths, while 131 patients have recovered.
