Here are some simple hacks that can help you to overcome nausea and motion sickness to ensure that you enjoy the most of your travel

As the new year is approaching, we all are busy making plans to travel, visit, roam or hang out with friends, families and relatives. This feeling of excitement can turn into a bad experience for many of us as motion sickness is very common while traveling. During travel, the feeling of nausea takes the fun factor out of the window. It is caused by the disturbance of a part in the inner ear through the repeated motion from a vehicle or any other motion. Here are some simple hacks that can help you to get through this.

Ginger - Ginger helps people during travel due to its strong taste. Remove the outer layer of ginger, keep thin slices of it in your mouth while traveling. This will help to overcome the feeling of nausea.

Roasted cloves - Before the start of the journey, placing a few roasted cloves in your mouth can limit the dizzy and nauseous feeling to a great extent. Some people have problems with the taste of cloves and don’t like to chew on them. These people can make powder out of roasted cloves and keep it with them.

Lemon salt - The nauseous feeling can also be restrained by mixing lemon juice and salt in water. You can make lemon juice and carry it with you for the journey. Drink it as and when required to avoid feeling nauseous.

Citrus fruits - The most commonly consumed citrus fruits such as oranges and grapefruit can help to fight motion sickness. Citrus fruits have one thing in common, they are sour. Due to their strong taste, they have been useful in making people feel better while traveling.

Mint - Mint leaves can be consumed during the journey or even before it. Its strong and refreshing smell is prominent for rejuvenating the brain and making your mouth feel fresh.
