Through an innovative sterilization & freeze-drying processes R&D laboratory, Telstar offers pharmaceutical companies located in China a qualified and complete consultancy service for the development, qualification and validation of process cycles, simplifying the assessment of a product's behaviour before the freeze drying or sterilization process, as well as adapting and optimizing the process before its industrial implementation. Formally established in January 2020, the new service has undergone a substantial demand for growth with more than 30 companies and hundreds of specialists who have displayed their interest in the new service and some tests have been developed in many cases, during this period.

Referent in freeze drying recipe development in the laboratory field in China, the new installation is equipped with all the necessary testing and analysis equipment for freeze drying process development, high configuration Telstar pilot freeze dryer, freezing microscope and residential moisture analyser, among others. The new service reinforces Telstar’s capacity to offer a more stable and locally support to pharmaceutical companies.

The company has experienced an evolving increased presence of Telstar GMP freeze-dryers in China and currently let customers a complete support laboratory service to develop & improve recipes and test of samples and new developments prior to the process of production.
