They should make sure to take it the next day without fail. Thyroid medications should not be taken on alternative days; hence it is strictly not recommended. Taking medication regularly as prescribed by your doctor is the only way to manage the condition. Taking it incorrectly will lead to an imbalance in thyroid level and will flare up the symptoms, leading to several health issues. Thyroid doses change from time to time over the lifespan depending on the person’s condition. At different times you may need different medications.
