Two more cases of coronavirus - one in Delhi and another in Telangana - are detected in India, the govt said today. the newest detections take the entire coronavirus cases in India to 5, weeks after the primary case was reported in Kerala.
The government said both the patients are stable which they're being closely monitored.
The coronavirus-tested person from Delhi holds travel history from Italy, while the other from Telangana have had travelled to Dubai, the Union Health Ministry said.
The global price from the outbreak crossed 3,000 on Monday after dozens more were killed in China and cases soared around the world with a second fatality within the US. The deadly virus, first detected in China in December last year, has spread to quite 60 countries and infected quite 88,000 people.
Earlier, three students from Kerala, who had confirmed to possess the virus, were discharged from hospital after they recovered and tested negative for the coronavirus.
Groups of Indians who came from China are under quarantine, while a number of them are released after staying under observation for weeks.
The WHO says the virus appears to particularly hit those over the age of 60 and other people already weakened by other illness.
The virus has rapidly multiplied across the globe over the week, showing signs on every continent except Antarctica, propelled many governments to undertake to prevent people from travelling or gathering in crowded places.
