It would not be wrong to call reflexology - A relaxation therapy. After massage therapy for the feet and hands, we feel very relaxed and our mind becomes calm. Apart from this, some people also feel sleepy during the massage.

Let us explore the relaxation techniques for legs and to reduce stress

Relaxation exercises

Massage the entire foot, first starting near the toe and then slowly coming down towards the heel. Do this for about 30 seconds. After this, you open your palm completely. After this, apply pressure from the palm to the middle of the soles of the feet. After this, slowly keep moving the palm on the sole of the foot. In a way, it works like a relaxation exercise. Do this in both legs for about 10 minutes.

Thumb walking

In thumb walking, first, move the thumbs of your hands towards the heels of the feet. After this keep applying pressure on the heel with the thumb. In this way, making pressure with the thumb on the sides of the feet, come till the toe. Do this process all around the legs due to which you will feel relaxed along with the pain in the feet.

Rotate thumb

The rotate thumb is done by moving the thumb. Due to this, there is a strain in the bones and joints of the feet. which gives relief from leg pain. First, hold the foot in both hands, then place the thumb of both the hands in the middle of the soles of the feet. After this, keep moving the thumb between the soles of the thumbs of the hand. Do this in a circular fashion. Do this process for about 10 minutes on each foot from the heel to toe.

Stimulate Meridian Points of Toe

There are many meridian points in all the fingers except the middle finger of our foot. Which are connected to the stomach, liver, bladder, etc. By applying pressure on them, the problem in these parts of the body can be relieved. In this method, to massage the feet, pressure has to be applied with the fingers of the hands-on the skin just below the nails of the toes. Along with this, you keep the finger of your hand in the same place and rotate it clockwise and anti-clockwise. Do this in turn in all the fingers.

Thumb walk on the chest area

If we divide our feet into parts like the body, then the toes become our heads. After this, the part just below the fingers became part of the chest or chest. The middle part of the foot became part of the waist and the part of the heel became the part of the lower part of the waist ie the pelvic area. On this basis, while massaging the feet, with the thumb of your hands, you press on the chest part of the foot by giving pressure.

Fist pressure

In this type of foot massage, first, hold the foot with one hand. Make a fist with the other hand, then place it on the sole of the foot and start applying pressure against the foot. With this fist, slowly give pressure to the whole foot. Keep doing this process for about 10 minutes. Apart from this, if you want, you can also do it with the help of hardball.
