Which people are at higher risk of chronic migraine?

Women are more prone to chronic migraine than men. Because hormones fluctuate in the body of women. However, this problem can happen to anyone and can happen to people of any age. There are many other factors as well that increase the risk of migraine. Now the question is, which people are at higher risk of chronic migraine? Let us check in detail.

The problem of headaches is very common. But if someone is having frequent headaches, then it may not be a common headache, but a migraine. Migraine is a common disease nowadays. There are many signs and symptoms when a migraine occurs, which later turn into a severe headache. If a person has a headache 1-2 times a month, it is normal, and it is usually nothing to worry about. But if a person is having this headache problem again and again like 10 to 15 days in a month, then it can be chronic migraine. If a person is facing this type of condition for 3 consecutive months, then he should immediately contact the doctor, because if it is not treated in time then serious consequences can be seen to his health.

  1. People with Family History

Insomnia is one of the major risk factors for migraine. People who are unable to sleep properly often experience headaches and irritability. If a person is already suffering from headaches, then not getting enough sleep can increase the risk of migraine.
