World Water Day 22nd March 2021- Recognize the multifold value of water for universal health

Water is truly valuable and has a multidimensional role in our health. It is important to value this resource of nature. We should safeguard this critical resource for the benefit of everyone.

The United Nations Organization observes World Water Day on 22nd March every year. This year the UN observes World Water Day focuses on the importance of water in our lives. Pure water is the world’s first and foremost medicine. Water is the driving force of nature and very essential for our life. Water is the planet’s most valuable resource. It is the best natural remedy that helps us to clear all the toxins from our bodies. Just imagine our life without water!! The human body needs a lot of water to function. Without water, we cannot think of surviving. Our body needs this element throughout life. 

The theme for World Water Day 2021 

The World Water Day 22nd March 2021 focuses on “Valuing Water” There will be an online event conducted by the United Nation Organization on the World Water Day which will be arranged on 22nd March 2021 from 13:00 to 14:30 pm to celebrate Water Day and raise awareness about the global water crisis to value water. The core focus will be to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG): water and sanitation by 2030. Let’s not forget that water has enormous complex value in our household, food, culture, health, education, economics, and integrity of the natural environment.

The body needs water to carry out essential functions such as balancing internal temperature and keeping cells alive. As a thumb rule, a person cannot survive without water beyond 48 hours. There are many factors that depend on water consumption in our human lives such as environment, quantity, age, activity levels, and bodily factors. Every system of our body needs water in order to function properly. Drinking water regularly is very essential for a healthy body. Approximately, an adult body is made up of two-thirds of water. Water is one of the essential and vital components of the body. It is one of the valuable nutrients by nature that must be consumed by us.
