Where the West has very recently discovered the goodness of Rosewater. It has always been a part of India for centuries. It was even recommended by Ayurveda for its amazing properties. The ancient text reveals that rosewater can balance ‘Sadhaka Pitta.’ It is one solution to solve not only your skin concerts but also your mental health. Below is a list of rosewater benefits.

How to Make Rose Water

Making rose water is very easy. Wash some rose petals and add them to a pot full of water. Cover the pot with a hit and put the flame on a low setting. Once the water comes to a boil, strain the rosewater in a clean spray bottle for future use.

Anti-inflammatory

Rosewater is the best solution to treat redness and blotchy skin. Rosewater has many anti-inflammatory properties that reduce redness, rosacea and even eczema. If due to hyperpigmentation you see stubborn red spots, then continuous application of water can help treat it.

Spots

Be it the dark spots created by acne or the leftover of an injury, spots are stubborn skin problems. But don’t worry much, rosewater can help you deal with it. Use rosewater as a toner to treat your pimple scarring. If you have faced an injury then dab some rosewater to help it have lesser pigmentation.

Anti-ageing

We all want a youthful glow and clear skin. To achieve this rosewater can be helpful. Apply rosewater as a toner or facial mist. Include it daily in your beauty regime. Rosewater has anti-oxidant and anti-ageing properties. It can reduce your redness and under-eye dark circles. Continuous application of rose water can even help moisturise and hydrate the skin.

Rosewater can be used as a facial mist or can be added to your DIY face packs. It can be used by all skin types as it is very gentle in nature.
