In Manipur, three persons have died due to COVID-19 infection in the past twenty-four hours taking the Corona death toll in the State to 221.

In Manipur, three persons have died due to COVID-19 infection in the past twenty-four hours taking the Corona death toll in the State to 221.
 

On the other hand, 235 people including 22 personnel from the Central Armed Police Force have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in the state. The total number of affected people so far in the State has reached 21,871. Among the new cases, 213 are locals and do not have travel history.

 
Two hundred fifty-nine people were discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours and the recovery rate is 85.01 percent in the State.
 
So far, Manipur has recorded a total of 18,593 recovered cases while the number of active cases is 3,057
