Ayurveda defines ashwagandha as a powerful herb that has the ability to heal the body and cure it from various illnesses. The scientific name for ashwagandha is Withania Somnifera and is considered an adaptogen. This adaptogen helps the body to respond to stress in a positive way and helps to relax.

Indian ginseng  has been used as a traditional medicine in ayurveda since ages. It is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties which helps to ease out pain and inflammation. It has many other medicinal uses.

Let us check out health benefits of Ashwagandha

Reduces stress

Stress can take a toll on health and cause major anxiety issues which may get complicated at times. It is important not to neglect stress and use some natural elements for stress management.  Ashwagandha is a natural adaptogen herb which helps cope up with stress naturally. It helps in reducing the stress hormone cortisol in the body thus neutralizing stress and relieving it from the root cause of the problem. It also helps reduce the stress receptor activities and stress activated channels in the body to allow the body to recover from the stress. It has been confirmed by research that ashwagandha has good natural elements to reduce stress.

Improves quality of sleep

Deep sleep has many benefits. Having a good quality 8 hour sleep is very beneficial for the overall well being of our health. Ashwagandha has the ability to stimulate natural secretion of melatonin hormone which is very beneficial for proper sleep. The ashwagandha root has a natural element of triethylene glycol which helps in inducing sleep naturally by stimulating the natural sleep hormone melatonin and sleep in maintaining a healthy natural sleep cycle with circadian rhythm.

Increase energy levels

It has been proven by research that ashwagandha helps increase muscle mass and improve your energy levels. It is also suggested based on the clinical studies that this traditional herb may help increase muscle power and lower body fat percentage.

It is a great post-recovery workout supplement which helps improve energy levels and enhance productivity and focus at work.

So, what are you waiting for? Start with ashwagandha to stay more focused, motivated with better results and productivity.
