In a dedicated effort to enhance emergency preparedness and save lives in the wake of acts of terror and hate crimes, Axio Biosolutions has partnered with the Indian Institute of Emergency Medical Services (IIEMS) to launch the groundbreaking "STOP THE BLEED" initiative. This program is designed to strengthen the response capabilities of security personnel, emergency services, businesses, educational institutions, and the general public by providing vital training and essential haemostatic kits.

The initiative emphasizes the critical importance of timely intervention during severe haemorrhage situations. It aims to empower individuals and organizations with the necessary knowledge and tools, such as Axiostat haemostatic dressings, to effectively control bleeding and potentially save lives before professional medical help arrives.

Recognizing that preparedness extends beyond mere equipment availability, the "STOP THE BLEED" program includes comprehensive training modules led by renowned experts, ensuring seamless coordination among emergency agencies and first responders. The training curriculum is aligned with internationally recognized standards and endorsed by leading organizations such as:

  • NAEMT (National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, USA)
  • ITLS (International Trauma Life Support, USA)
  • ATLS (American College of Surgeons, USA)
  • NDLSF (National Disaster Life Support Foundation, USA)

The courses are conducted under the leadership of Dr. George P. Abraham, Chairman of IIEMS, who brings extensive expertise in emergency medical education.

This initiative underscores a collective commitment to community safety, emphasizing proactive preparedness and rapid response to save lives during critical moments.
