Beach therapy – rejuvenates body, soul, and mind

“Ocean water has the power of healing. It heals the body, soul, and mind. Visiting any coastline or beachside for relaxation has ample benefits"

It gives a sense of happiness, peace whenever we walk on wet sand, feel the ocean breeze and smell the saltiness of the sea. The seashore gives a feeling of being happy, relaxed, and fulfilled. It automatically brings a smile to the face. Studies found that spending time at the beachside helps in reducing stress levels and leaves a very powerful impact on our brain, mental health. People often listen to the voice of tides or rain to relax their minds, feel refreshed and to have a nice sleep. Going to a beach acts as a catalyst in recovering from many mental health disorders. The breeze, waves sound, and the green view at the shore helps in healing by reducing the mental stress level from our busy routined life. Everyone should go often for a day trip to a beach if they have one nearby to their house. Visiting the beach relaxes your body, soul, and mind, it also helps in boosting brain activities too.

Benefits

Every color corresponds to a certain message or signifies a certain meaning. The ocean color blue signifies peace and serene. Thus if we keep staring at the blue water, we feel relaxed and calm. Knowingly or unknowingly, our mind gets stable, poised after feeling the purity of the ocean and its surrounding. Our brain is engaged in this environment and is less thinking of other external stimuli.

One can do morning physical exercise nearby to any beach. Doing exercise in this type of surroundings will give you a mental boost than doing exercise in the gym or any crowded place. Spending morning time in such a pious environment is good for health. One can breathe fresh air that nourishes our lungs.

Walking barefoot can be exciting for your body and mind and helps your body absorb free ions from the earth's surface. The feeling is the same feeling of removing your high heels after a long tiring day.

The negative ions present in the breeze can help in the calming brain. It works as a natural antidepressant. So visiting a beach when you are feeling down, depressed will lift your mood and overall wellbeing.

Sun is the best source of vitamin D. You can visit the coastline to get vitamin D. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.

Visiting any beachside also helps in exploring the creative side of yourself. We can observe things with a different perspective as our mind is fully stable and alert. We can think of something imaginary and drive more ideas with extraordinary features.

Studies on various components of the sea revealed that droplets of seawater that we breathe whenever we are nearby to any coastline, may have a vital role in the prevention of lung cancer and cholesterol level, impacting the genes that enact them.

So do visit a coastline or beach to rejuvenate yourself and try to find a new you.
