The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Friday coordinated Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to hand over certain offices of Wankhede Stadium in the southern piece of the city to the city body to make offices regarding the novel coronavirus flare-up.
In a letter, A Ward Assistant Municipal Commissioner Chanda Jadhav said the "inn/hold up/clubs/school/presentation focuses/residences/marriage lobby/gymkhana/dinner corridor" must be given over "with quick impact".
"The said premises will be utilized for crisis staff of 'A' Ward and isolate the individual whoever is in contact with a positive COVID-19 patient and are not suggestive," the letter, a duplicate of which is with PTI, expressed.
The urban body said the procurement was of an impermanent sort and installments for utilization of offices would be done sometime in the not too distant future.
It cautioned the MCA that refusal to coordinate could welcome police activity for defiance to a legitimate request.
An MCA summit gathering part said there was no faltering on part of the cricket body to help specialists handling the infection flare-up.
A senior MCA official said they had received the letter on Friday morning.
The complex involves the BCCI office, MCA Lounge, Garware Club House separated from the principal arena.
The MCA Lounge is a dinner lobby, while the Garware Club House has more than 50 rooms and a couple of corridors inside it.
Prior the BMC obtained Worli-based National Sports Club of India's indoor arena and some other gymkhana premises to set up isolation and segregation offices.
