The Corona vaccine is being administered to 15 to 18-year-old children. There may be some mild side effects observed after vaccination in children. Although these symptoms are mild and parents need not have to panic about them. According to experts, after taking the first dose of the vaccine, some symptoms might appear, to which you should pay attention.

Along with this, it is also important to know that the vaccine will not start showing its effect immediately after the first dose. After 4 weeks of the first dose, the second dose should be taken and after 4 weeks of the second dose, the immunity will develop.

According to experts, some possible side effects of vaccination were seen in people in the age group of 18 and 60 plus and they may be seen in children too, but that’s not the matter of concern. These mild side effects show that the vaccine has started working.

Mild fever

Children may get a mild fever after taking the vaccine. For this, you can take medicine with the advice of the doctor.

Weakness 

After getting the vaccine, some children may also experience fatigue and body pain. According to the CDC, let the child rest and give them plenty of fluids. However, avoid giving packaged liquid things.

Fainting

There can also be a problem of fainting after vaccination. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, sitting or lying down for about 15 minutes after taking vaccination will help to avoid this problem.

Red rashes and pain

In the area where the vaccine is given, there may be a problem of red marks and pain. According to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), one can place a cool, soft cloth over the vaccination area to reduce the redness and pain of vaccination.
