Find traditional yoga boring? Try Glow Yoga

This new type of yoga is catching up with youth and yoga buffs.

Innovation has hit the ancient fitness regimen, yoga. Recently, some Mumbaikars, who are fitness lovers too, gathered at a studio in Juhu. They switched off the lights. The room was aglow with neon lights. Before you misunderstand, it was not a disco night, but a yoga session to commence soon. A yoga session called Glow Yoga.

The purpose of Glow Yoga is to do something unique with yoga. People at the session wore white or neon, which glowed under the special lights. The participants even wore phosphorescent body paint designs, like painted bangles. It became a spiritual party with lot of movement, breathing and mindfulness.

The participants performed the moves freely as nobody was watching them. Glow yoga is a fitness regimen one takes up to break the monotony of the usual workout. It’s a unique way to beat the stress under lights…. Neon lights.
