The state health department insists that early admission of the patients helps the recovery process to become faster and easier

In Tamil Nadu, the new Corona cases in the past 24-hours dropped below 4,000 marks for the first time after many months. The active caseload has also come under the 40,000 marks.

The per-day figure of the new COVID-19 cases in Tamilnadu has begun dropping below five thousand since the 12th of this month. Since then, the graph shows a sustained marginal dip. It has reached 3,914 yesterday, a new low after many months.

The active caseload has also come down to 39,121.

Meanwhile, the medical specialists say they have learnt that in treating the viral infection, oxygen cannulas are more in demand than ventilators, and therefore its seamless supply has been ensured. The doctors say that in addition to the focussed attention on the lungs of the symptomatic patients, controlling blood clots due to the toxic virus also assumes importance in many cases. The state health department insists that early admission of the patients helps the recovery process to become faster and easier.
