In Gujarat, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is being observed in a very unique way due to Coronavirus pandemic.

In Gujaratthe International Day of Persons with Disabilities is being observed in a very unique way due to Coronavirus pandemic. 

AIR correspondent reports, series of events are being organised in Gujarat to mark the celebrations of the international day of disabled persons. The new building with different departments for divyang people of Bhavnagar based Andh Udhyog Shala has been dedicated by prince of former Bhavnagar state Jayveer Rajsinh Gohil.
 

The Andh udhyog Shala has organised a live interactive program - "the lights of new vision” to showcase the various abilities of the divyang students.


According to the Bhavnagar branch of National Association of Blind Peoples, the visually impaired divyang students have participated and performed in cultural, educational and scientific programmes live through online mode and showcased their unique abilities. The visually impaired students also participated in different games and music competitions. The entire program has been telecast live through youtube channel.
