Homeopathy in Pregnancy - Homeopathy Treatment | Medicircle

In homeopathy treatment, along with medicine, lifestyle plays an essential role in recovering from the disease. The patient should follow a healthy diet and regular physical exercise. Advantages of taking homeopathic medicine - There are no dietary restrictions and can be taken along with allopathic medicines.

Dr. Hitali Shah is a homeopathic consultant practicing at Kandivali and Mira road for 5 years. She is also a psychological counselor (P.G.D.P.C) and nutritionist. She has expertise in treating many cases of varied diseases and disorders, especially skin, hair, PCOS, and thyroid disorders. She has also done many free medical camps in and around Mumbai.

Homeopathy treatment for acute and chronic diseases

Dr. Hitali says, "There is no specific period in which homeopathic medicines can treat the disease. Generally, diseases are of two types, acute and chronic. Acute problems are the ones that have started in less than 7 days. For acute problems, we can see positive results within 24 – 48 hours with homeopathic medicines. Chronic problems are the ones that are there for a long time like blood pressure, thyroid, and diabetes. In this case, recovery time is usually high since the disease is too old. Recovery from homeopathic medicines is purely based on the body’s immunity. You can see visible results within a month. Homeopathy works well for both acute and chronic diseases with no side effects.”

Dr. Hitali adds, “Along with the medicine, lifestyle plays an important role in recovering from the disease. The patient should follow a healthy diet and regular physical exercise.” Dr. Hitali clears some doubt regarding homeopathy.

  • There are no dietary restrictions with homeopathic medicines, patients can have anything in their food.
  • Homeopathic medicines can be taken along with allopathic medicines.

Homeopathy for all disease

Dr. Hitali expresses, "Homeopathy can treat almost all kinds of chronic disorders such as thyroid, hypertension, diabetes, PCOS related, GIT, skin related problems. Patients with hypertension and thyroid can take homeopathic medicines along with their ongoing allopathic medicines and once the condition is under control, they can taper off the allopathic medicines. And same with diabetes patients, once the condition is under control, we can reduce the insulin dosage. Homeopathy treatment will keep the complications to a minimal level. Neurodegenerative diseases or CNS-related diseases can also be treated with homeopathy. Homeopathy helps in dealing with certain side effects of allopathic medicines.”

Homeopathy for infants

Dr. Hitali informs, “Homeopathy works wonderfully for all age groups be it infants, toddlers, children, adults, or old age. For infants, medicines can be given to the breastfeeding moms and through breastmilk, the medicinal effects get transferred to the baby. For the pediatric age group, parents are preferring homeopathic medicine as they do not have any side effects. We can treat all kinds of diseases in the pediatric age group with homeopathic medicine.”

Homeopathy for pregnant ladies

Dr. Hitali concludes, “Gynaecologists generally do not recommend allopathic medicine during pregnancy. They prefer homeopathic medicines for pregnancy-related issues. In homeopathy, doctors need to study the entire case study of the patients to determine treatment for effective results.”
