The cabinet of Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant undisputedly decided to recommend an extension lockdown till April 30 because of the rise in the number of coronavirus cases. The State cabinet of CM Sawant also decided that 144 of Criminal Procedure Code should remain implemented until the health crisis due to deadly infectious Coronavirus contains. This is in response to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to the States for their recommendations on the current 21-day lockdown, which is scheduled to end on April 14.
