Prof Giovanni Zucchelli, DDS, PHD, is the Professor of Periodontology and Implantology at the University of Bologna, Italy. He has received numerous awards for his clinical research in periodontology in both Europe and the United States. Prof Zucchelli has authored over 100 Pubmed-indexed publications and is the author of two bestselling books ‘Mucogingival Esthetic Surgery’ and ‘Mucogingival Esthetic Surgery Around Implants.’ Additionally, he has co-authored two illustrated textbooks on periodontal plastic surgery and contributed a chapter on ‘Mucogingival Therapy-Periodontal Plastic Surgery’ in Jan Lindhe’s textbook ‘Clinical Periodontology and Implant Dentistry’.
