Brown and Red Rice

Brown rice is a variety of rice that helps in weight loss. It contains more fiber which increases metabolism and helps in weight loss. 111 calories are present in 100 grams of brown rice. Eating khichdi made from this rice helps in reducing weight, apart from this rice is used in making soup and eating it with chicken or fish during the winter season.

Red rice contains an antioxidant called anthocyanin, due to which it is dark in color. Its antioxidant properties are found to have weight loss properties. Apart from this, eating red rice also strengthens the metabolism. A cup of red rice contains 216 calories.
