Karnataka reported 1,526 new cases of Covid-19 and 12 related fatalities yesterday. The day also saw 1,451 patients getting discharged after recovery while the active cases touched 25,379.
 

Bengaluru Urban district reported 808 cases and six deaths, followed by Mysuru with 75 cases and one fatality while the remaining were from various districts.

Cumulatively 8,81,086 Covid-19 positive cases have been confirmed in the state and these included 11,738 deaths and 8,43,950 discharges.

 
The Positivity rate remains low at 1.34 percent and the Case Fatality rate at 0.78 percent. The state conducted 1,13,591 Covid tests yesterday out of which 97,246 were RT PCR tests.
