Premature hair graying is a common problem, which people start using hair dye to hide. But do you know that this process of hiding white hair can damage your hair even more?

It is important to know the causes of premature hair graying.

Premature hair greying can occur due to pollution and other hormonal imbalances. Due to hair whitening at an early age, people start doing hair coloring. But they do not understand that this remedy does not last long. However, this process is not completely harmless either. It also damages the hair which is not yet white. Therefore it is important for you to know the reasons for the graying of hair. So that you can deal with this problem without hair dye.

Reason for premature hair graying

Vitamin deficiency

White and gray hair can start to grow at any age, and it can happen for many different reasons.

It was found that the lack of nutrients causes hair graying. The adequate intake of the vitamin could bring back hair color.

Genetic

Genetic early greying can be a major cause of premature greying of hair

Tension

Premature hair graying occurs in most people due to genetic reasons. But in today's stressful life, due to the low oxidation level of the body, the hair starts turning white. Melanin cells are damaged due to stress, which can turn your hair white.

Chemical Hair Dye And Hair Products

Chemical hair dyes and hair products, even shampoos can cause premature graying of hair. Many of these products contain harmful substances, which reduce melanin.

Hydrogen peroxide, which is found in many hair dyes, is one such harmful chemical. Excessive use of hair bleaching products can also cause graying of hair.

Lead acetate

Lead acetate is usually added to many inexpensive hair dyes, which is used to give hair a quick dark color. This damages the melanin in the hair and causes premature graying.

PPD

PPD i.e. p-phenylenediamine is used to preserve the color of the dye for a long time. This chemical is found in 75 percent of the hair dyes available in the market. It has been proved in many types of research that this chemical not only whitens the hair quickly, but it can also have a negative effect on the lungs, kidney, liver, and nervous system.

Ammonia

Ammonia is mostly used in hair dyes, which can cause problems like skin problems, breathing problems, eye infections. Sometimes it is also used as an alternative to PPD in hair dyes.
