Lumis International GmbH (“Lumis”) announced recently that its recently founded spin-off company, Lumis Life Science Consulting GmbH (“Lumis Consult”), has taken over Lumis’ consulting services for small to midsized biopharmaceutical companies.

The foundation of Lumis Consult allows Lumis to expand its consulting business in a major strategic step.

It reflects the increasing demand by biopharmaceutical companies for support in accelerating the clinical development of innovative drugs and medical devices. Lumis Consult understands itself as a reliable and well positioned partner of these companies, offering them a comprehensive and qualified support to facilitate outsourcing of clinical trials, to manage vendors efficiently and to maintain full oversight of clinical projects at any time.

Lumis and Lumis Consult are run by the same experienced management team. Heike Schön, Managing Director and Co-Founder of the two companies, comments: “I am very glad that we augment our consulting services by establishing Lumis Consult. In June 2020, Dr Christiane Juhls became the Project Director of Lumis Consult. She has more than 20 years of experience in research and development of vaccines and drugs, including over 16 years managing international projects for a biotechnology company. Dr Juhls complements the team of highly specialised consultants and will play a key role in further developing the business of Lumis Consult.
