Madhya Pradesh again tops country in administering highest doses of COVID vaccine

Madhya Pradesh once again topped the country by administering the highest doses of vaccine yesterday. The state-administered vaccine to 10 lakh 45 thousand 661 people under the Vaccination Mega Campaign. Meanwhile, Special Vaccination Campaign for pregnant women is being started today.

AIR correspondent reports that Indore led the state with more than 72 thousand vaccinations followed by Ujjain where more than 42, thousand people were vaccinated. Meanwhile, in a Special Vaccination Campaign starting from today vaccines will be administered to pregnant women at all Government Medical Colleges, all District Hospitals and Community Health Centres.

Arrangements have been made for additional vaccination rooms, supervision by Medical Officers at vaccination centres. State Immunization Officer Dr Santosh Shukla said that the vaccination would have no effect on the unborn child. The registration for vaccination would be done on the spot.
