A study conducted by a virtual gym brand reveals that close 19% women in India suffer from problems related to menstruation. It has found that lifestyle diseases like thyroid and diabetes are on the rise in both men and women.
Specifically, for women’s health, it revealed that women walk an average of 7,117 steps a day while men clock and average of 7,416 steps per day. Women tend to sleep better than men, says the report. On the other hand, men are better hydrated than women, the reason behind their better health quotient compared to women.
The report also suggests some ways to maintain feminine hygiene, which includes using cotton underpants, avoiding scented soaps and feminine products like sprays and bubble baths.
