Fitness A concern with Homemakers.

▴ Fitness A concern with Homemakers
Understanding the concerns which have increased the health issues with multitasking homemakers.

In today's modern world, Everyone from an office goer to a college person has neck deep work to do. Even though you can escape work after your office time, a Homemaker is always at work. So it gets difficult for that person to remove time for self as the majority of the time is taken by the other chores. The moment they have a firm determination to workout someone falls sick. It's a cycle that they follow to take care of others and end up forgetting themselves.

So, Many do turn up to me and ask that I do have endless work but how come I don't get fit - fitter each day, But end up being tired, lethargic and bloated? How is that possible!

Unfortunately, it is!

The amount of stress what a homemaker caries is relatively higher than an officer employee. Stress triggers Cortisol known as a  stress hormone which deposits fat in your body. This makes you weak, heavy, bloated lethargic and till the time you realize all of this your dress won't fit you anymore and it just keeps on increasing even more stress fat.

Stress fat also makes you have a feeling of being always tired and slowly your gut health also changes and it ends up producing more acid and creates acidity and poor bowel movements.

How to manage stress cause it's not avoidable-

Workout - It's a known fact that when a person works out your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body. This reduces cortisol and also its ability to deposit fat.  Meditate: Even in your busy schedule, a person should try to sit idle do nothing at all for at least 10 mins. Don't see anything just relax try to hear what we usually miss out in daily life the chirping birds.  Acceptance:: Its a human tendency that if we have too much of work and then in our leisure when we see or go through anyone who is doing much better then us the stress or being envious develops. This adds in the stress to achieve more or not be happy with what you have. So to avoid all of this make sure that you follow the right person who motivates you does not make you feel bad for yourself.  Diet: If we take care of our meals and eat in the regular interval it also helps your body cells to be less stressed and keeps you in a fighting mode always. And guess what it will also help your metabolism to rise and make you get fitter and healthier. Socialize: Make sure you meet people whom you like to spend some quality time with them just so that it acts as a stress buster and be happier. As we all know we are happy around people whom we like. Do what you like at least once a day and have some ME TIME.

These are not all but small very small efforts that we really can do better the health of our homemaker. My mother, a proud mother of 5 kids had always been busy around us but we try to at least make her do what she likes so that her stress is lesser now then what it was 15 yrs ago when we did not know much about all of this. It's not just for the homemakers to do all of the above but for us to understand there needs and help them too. Let them have there time and make them do the above so that it doesn't affect their health much.

We all know they run the show and it's our job too to help them cherish what they should and have the best of health for a better house for her better health.
