With 80 new COVID-19 cases in Pune, the all out number of affirmed cases in the region moved to 1,264,as reported by health department on Sunday. The death toll reached  77 after five more COVID-19 patients surrendered to the pandemic in the previous 24 hours.

"To the extent the zones under the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limits, the count of COVID-19 cases went up to 1,119," said a health department official .

Meanwhile Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with chief ministers via video conference on Monday morning to discuss the way ahead in the fight against the novel coronavirus,indications are that the discussions could also focus on a graded exit from the ongoing lockdown.

This will be the third video conference of the Prime Minister with the Chief Ministers after the spread of the COVID-19 in the country.
