▴ Shiny Smile with Shapely Shiny Teeth
You don’t need to visit a dentist only when you are suffering from acute pain and unable to pose a smile. You can enter a dental clinic smiling too to return with a more effervescent smile.

When we visit a dentist, the common outlook is that we must be visiting him/her for a dental ailment that we are suffering from. However, there are various other reasons for which you can schedule a visit to the dentist at least once annually. The reasons are primarily related to your teeth' upkeep. Well-maintained teeth are bright and shiny and adds an extra gleam to your smile.

Teeth Whitening

Even when we brush our teeth regularly, after some time, they tend to lose their sheen due to frequent consumption of sports drinks, tea, coffee, certain medications, etc. If you are in habit of smoking or eating beetle leaves then the condition is even worse. Whitening is a good remedy to bring the sheen back to your teeth. If you have never gone for teeth whitening before, then you can go for more than one session of the teeth whitening in the initial year.

Teeth Cleaning

Though we clean our teeth every day as part of our daily ritual, clinic-based teeth cleaning is required to keep our gums healthy and keep the teeth stronger. The tartar and plaque that gets accumulated on our teeth get completely clean making it shiny white.

Bonding

If your teeth are chipped or cracked or if there is an excess space between them that makes you very unconfident when you smile, laugh or talk to others, bonding is a remedy that can help solve your problem.

Bridges

It might be that you have a missing tooth due to some accident in childhood that is not causing you any pain or obstruction in day-to-day life. However, if it’s very evident then it's good to opt for bridges which is a replacement for your missing teeth. There would be a vast difference in your smile with this solution.

Dental Care of your little ones

We take the dental care of our little ones lightly thinking that they are as it is going to lose the first set of their teeth in the initial years of their lives. However, teeth of children require good care. Kids should be taken to dentists even when they are not suffering from any teeth ailment because at their stage, they consume sweetened beverages and food items more than anyone. Other than that, their teeth have certain problems which are not painful but need corrections for e.g. minor orthodontic corrections, fillings for primary teeth etc. You can take your teenagers for braces if required so that the look of their crowded or crooked teeth improves and they turn out to be adults with good teeth later on.

All the above remedies come under the cosmetic dentistry segment and work wonders in making your smile bright, shiny and beautiful.
