State-of-the-Art ICU and C-Arm Facility Launched at TGH Oncolife Cancer Centre

TGH Oncolife Cancer Centre has further strengthened its commitment to advanced and affordable cancer care with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and C-Arm facility.

Pune: TGH Oncolife Cancer Centre has further strengthened its commitment to advanced and affordable cancer care with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and C-Arm facility. The new addition will enhance critical care support and image-guided interventions for cancer patients requiring complex treatment.

The upgraded facility includes 8 ICU beds and 4 HDU beds, enabling round-the-clock monitoring and faster medical response for critically ill patients. The initiative has been made possible through the CSR support of Finolex Cables Limited, which donated ICU furniture and advanced C-Arm equipment.

The facility was inaugurated by Mr. Janak Chhabria and Ms. Radhika Chhabria, Board of Directors of Finolex Cables Limited, in the presence of Mr. Ramesh Lalwani, CSR Head, Finolex Cables Limited, along with senior leadership and medical specialists from TGH Oncolife Cancer Centre, including Mr. Sachin Deshmukh, Managing Director, Dr. Santosh Sahu, Unit Head, Dr. Pradyumna Dhakephalkar, Dr. Vishwas Koul, ICU Head; Dr. Jyoti Mehta, and Dr. Vivek Bande.

With cancer cases steadily rising, timely diagnosis, critical care support, and precise interventional procedures have become increasingly important. The inauguration of the ICU and C-Arm facility by TGH Oncolife Cancer Centre will support critically ill cancer patients, enable safer procedures, and ensure uninterrupted care during complex treatments.

 noted that the new facilities will enable quicker interventions, better monitoring, and safer procedures, key to managing complex cancer cases effectively.
