Hyderabad, January 26, 2024.....Telangana State won the first runner-up trophy in the Boys category(Cycling Track) at Khelo India. The trophy was presented to Ashirwad Saxena's coach Vijay Bhaskar Reddy.  Telangana State was chosen for the trophy because of Aashirwad Saxena's performance, who won two gold and one bronze medal in the Khelo India Youth Games 2023.

Aashirward Saxena, the most promising professional bicyclist met Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, the principal secretary, Govt of Telangana.  Jayesh Ranjan assured him all the help from the government of Telangana.
