Treat acidity with home remedies

Acidity symptoms

Although it is very easy to recognize acidity because in this disease there is a pain in the stomach, bloating starts, and gas is formed, apart from this there are some symptoms which are very less visible like-

  1. When a person has acidity, he feels pain and burning in his chest for several hours after a meal.
  1. Many times acidity leads to sour belching and it brings the stomach acid into the mouth, after which the person starts vomiting.
  1. Flatulence, nausea, vomiting, etc. is also one of the symptoms of acidity.
  1. Sometimes in acidity, a foul smell comes from the mouth and breath, and along with this, there is a pain in the stomach and head as well.
  1. Acidity causes frequent vomiting and abdominal pain, due to which the person also starts feeling restless and nervous.

Treat acidity with home remedies

Whatever be the disease, home remedies for acidity are considered a panacea for every serious disease. Even today, many people prefer to try home remedies instead of eating acidity medicines, this is because there are no harm and side effects from the things present in the kitchen. In such a situation, you can also take the help of the following home remedies to get rid of acidity.

  1. Cumin and Celery

Roast cumin and carom seeds and boil them well, after it cools down a bit, add sugar to it and drink it. By doing this, the problem of acidity gets relief. Companion carom seeds also remove the gas formed in the stomach, which also provides relief in stomach pain.

  1. Cold Milk

Milk removes the fatigue of the whole day in an instant. Similarly, a glass of milk also has the power to eliminate acidity, whenever you feel that you have a stomach ache or gas is forming, then mix some sugar candy in a glass of cold milk, and drink it in one breath. Go, by doing this, there is relief in the problem of acidity.


  1. Using Cinnamon

Cinnamon is known as a natural anti-acid, it increases the power of digestion as well as prevents excessive acid formation in the stomach.

  1. Basil's

In case of acidity, boil 6 to 7 basil leaves in water and after it cools down, add a little sugar to it. The problem of acidity is removed by drinking this mixture.

5. Banana and Apple

Banana contains natural antacid which is a panacea for acidity, consuming apple and banana before sleeping at night provides relief in acidity and also keeps the stomach always clean. If you want, you can also consume bananas in the morning.


Precautions for acidity

  • Do not eat more oily spices and fatty food. If the body does not have the power to tolerate it, then avoid fasting etc.
  • Do not go to bed immediately after having a meal. Sleep only about 2 hours after eating food, so that the food reaches the state of digestion.
  • If you are a victim of acidity again and again, then instead of eating regular food 3 times a day, eat it by dividing it into 5 different parts.
  • Even after all the remedies and precautions, your problem does not end, then in this situation, definitely consult a doctor, do not become a doctor yourself, otherwise, carelessness can increase your problem further.
