Two Congress members tested positive for coronavirus, have thrown an additional responsibility to usher responsible move to deal with the rapid spread of the virus. This news break has prompted many of their fellow lawmakers to go under self-quarantine as a precautionary measure and raises questions over the potential public health risks of the House and Senate continuing to convene in Washington.
Both chambers, however, have the rush to enact more relief measures because the coronavirus crisis spreads throughout the US.
Around twenty-four more lawmakers have also self-quarantined or taken other steps to isolate themselves after either coming in direct contact or potentially interacting with an infected individual.
