In fact, vitamin D helps to maintain the levels of many essential nutrients, including calcium and phosphate, in the body of both the mother and the baby. There is a deficiency of vitamin D in the pregnant woman's body, then the unborn baby will also get less calcium than its requirement. 

Due to which his overall development including teeth and bones can be affected. If this deficiency increases, it can also lead to Rickets. Effect of Vitamin D Deficiency on Newborn When a newborn baby or child does not get enough vitamin D due to any reason, then vitamin D in his body. the level begins to decrease. Which directly affects his physical and mental development. 

Vitamin D is a nutrient that helps the body absorb calcium and phosphate from foods. Calcium, phosphate, and vitamin D together help to build and strengthen bones. Apart from this, vitamin D also plays an important role in heart health, fighting infection, and warding off bone diseases. The sunlight :

The body gets Vitamin D from the sun. These days newborn babies are not exposed to the morning sunlight due to various reasons including the trend of joint family, modern lifestyle, and apartment culture in many cities. For children to get enough vitamin D, it is necessary that if possible, before bathing young children, they should be massaged with oil in the morning sun from nine to eleven o'clock and after that, they should be covered with clothes for a short time. Put it in the sun.

By diet:

Vitamin D deficiency in new mothers or pregnant women can also be met through foods. By the way, vitamin D3 is found in most non-vegetarian foods. Talking about vegetarian food, vitamin D3 is found in mushrooms, cheese, milk, yogurt, juice, and some cereals.
