Protein is the best supplement to recover after a workout. Here are some healthy options that will help you build stamina and stay healthy post-workout.

After the workout, you should rest for a while and dry up your sweat. After that, you have to drink water first. During exercise, a lot of sweat comes out from the body, so if the body does not get enough water, then there can be a problem of dehydration in the body. Therefore, after a workout, first of all, drink normal water.

After drinking water, the first thing you should take is protein. If you want, you can take some carbs along with protein. For protein, you can take egg, fish, chicken breast, paneer, tofu, and whey protein. Proteins work to nourish the muscles broken by exercise, which makes the muscles stronger and grow faster.

For carbohydrates, you can consume a banana, brown bread, sweet potato, oats, brown rice etc. Carbs work to increase energy in the body. Make sure to include them in your post-workout meal so that there is no fatigue in the body after exercise.

After exercise, you can also take protein supplements if you want. Whey protein is a good option in protein supplements. Whey protein is made from milk and is 100% vegetarian. Along with this, you can also take plant-based protein. Also, keep in mind that you should use the supplement only after expert advice and avoid fake protein supplements available in the market.
