Kidneys play an important role in maintaining the balance of water and other essential elements in the body such as minerals, sodium, potassium and phosphorus in the blood. Although kidney function is also affected with age, there are some reasons due to which problems related to kidney can appear before time. Do follow this diet right away

In the last few years, there has been a significant increase in deaths due to kidney diseases. Despite this, people often do not understand the symptoms of kidney-related problems and are able to go to the doctor when the problem has progressed very much and the chances of survival are very less.


Actually, kidneys do the work of cleaning in our body. These are a very important part of the waste removal system. Blood is purified in both the kidneys. There are millions of tiny filters in both of our kidneys called nephrons. Nephrons work to clean our blood. Due to this cleaning system happening in the kidney, harmful elements from our body come out with urine. Other kidney functions include making red blood cells and releasing beneficial hormones. Blood pressure is controlled by hormones released by the kidneys and vitamin D, which is essential for bones, is manufactured.

Drink water, don't hesitate

If there is a stone in the kidney, then drink at least 12 glasses of water a day. With the help of water, the stone-making chemical melts quickly.

Citrus acid is helpful

Citrus fruits that contain citric acid help reduce or prevent kidney stones. To take citric acid, you can eat lemon, seasonal-orange juice, or their whole fruit, grapes, etc.

Basil is beneficial

The elements present in Tulsi are helpful in stabilizing the level of uric acid. When this happens, it becomes difficult to form a stone in the kidney. Along with this, basil leaves also contain acetic acid, so it is helpful in breaking the stone. To take advantage of basil in kidney stones, you can drink a spoonful of basil juice daily.
