Why does uric acid increase? - High Uric Acid Causes

A chemical called purine is already present in our body. Apart from this, purine also increases in the body by consuming some foods. When purine is digested, uric acid is released from it. Usually, the kidneys filter uric acid out of the body, but when its amount starts increasing in the body, the kidney is not able to filter it properly. Due to not being filtered properly, uric acid deposits and enters the blood. The process of increasing uric acid in the blood is medically called hyperuricemia. Certain conditions of the body such as diabetes, obesity, blood pressure, etc. are mainly responsible for the increase in uric acid in the body.
