As important as taking the right diet and exercising for good health, it is equally important to get good sleep. Because good sleep not only makes you feel physically refreshed, but it also helps in keeping your brain healthy. If a person does not get good sleep regularly, then many diseases and diseases develop in the body such as heart disease and stroke obesity, even brain-related diseases like dementia, and Alzheimer's. Lack of sleep is also a major reason for problems like stress, anxiety, and depression. That's why it is important that you get good enough sleep.




These 10 Mistakes Cause Not Sleeping Well 


  1. Using a mobile phone before sleeping or spending more time in front of a laptop and TV

  1. Eating late at night and having heavy meals

  1. Exercising 2-3 hours before bedtime

  1. Lack of Vitamin D in the body and not spending time in the sun

  1. Consuming a lot of fluids before sleeping, as it leads to frequent toilet visits at night.

  1. Eat very light food, as it makes you hungry at night.

  1. Not sleeping at the same time every day

  1. Room temperature too cold or too hot during sleep.

  1. Doing heavy mental activity 45 minutes before bedtime

  1. Drinking of tea/coffee after 4 pm

Disturbed Sleep Causes

Many reasons can be responsible for poor sleep or difficulty in sleeping. Some important factors include your sleep habits, lifestyle choices, and medical conditions. Most people are unable to sleep properly due to some mental health conditions like stress, anxiety, and depression. Sleep problems, insomnia, sleep apnea, and restless leg syndrome are also major causes of sleeplessness.

If your sleep problem is due to a medical condition, there is not much you can do about it, in which case you need to consult your doctor. But by improving your lifestyle habits, you can get rid of sleep problems to a great extent and get a good quality sleep.
