▴ SALIVA-BASED PREGNANCY TEST KIT SALISTICK
The UK has launched the world's first saliva-based pregnancy test kit, offering women an alternative to traditional urine-based pregnancy tests. The test kit, named Salistick, was developed by Jerusalem-based start-up Salignostics and is already available in the UK and Ireland.

How to use Salistick and How it works

1. Salistick works by detecting the presence of a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in a woman's saliva. This hormone is produced by the placenta after a fertilized egg implants in the uterus and is the same hormone that traditional urine-based pregnancy tests detect.
2. To use the Salistick test, women simply place a small amount of saliva on a test strip and wait for the results. The test is over 99% accurate and can be taken as early as the first day of a missed period.
3. According to the Salistick company, the user will be able to see the results within five to fifteen minutes. furthermore, the early hint is that you will begin to witness the consequences within three seconds.

a) The test is designed to be simple and convenient, offering women the ability to take the test anytime, anywhere. The test is also more environmentally friendly than traditional urine-based tests, as it does not require plastic packaging or a collection cup.

b) The launch of Salistick is a significant development in the world of pregnancy testing, offering women an alternative to the inconvenience and messiness of traditional urine-based tests. The test is also more discreet, allowing women to take the test without anyone else knowing.

c) In addition to its convenience and accuracy, Salistick is also more environmentally friendly than traditional urine-based tests. The test does not require plastic packaging or a collection cup, reducing the amount of waste produced by pregnancy testing.

The launch of Salistick is a significant development in the world of pregnancy testing, offering women a more convenient, accurate, and environmentally friendly option. The test is already available in the UK and Ireland and is expected to be available worldwide soon. The development of Salistick is also a testament to the power of innovation and entrepreneurship, and the potential for science and technology to improve healthcare.
