Coronavirus Cases, Wuhan, China: The planned tests come after Wuhan reported the first cluster of new COVID-19 infections since the city re-opened after a 76-day lockdown on April 8.

Wuhan intends to lead coronavirus tests on the Chinese city's entire population after new cases rose without precedent for weeks in the support of the worldwide pandemic, state media revealed Tuesday.

Authorities had been requested to submit a report by early afternoon on Tuesday intends to direct nucleic analyses on all occupants in the city of 11 million individuals, as indicated by an official notification conveyed by news outlets.

"Each region should make arrangements and game plans to direct nucleic analyses on the entire population in its ward inside a 10-day time limit," the notification stated, even though it was hazy when testing would start.
