All you need to know about FDA Science Forum

The FDA Science Forum is a platform for researchers and scientists which gives them the opportunity to showcase their scientific and evidence-based work for the betterment of the public.

The  FDA Science Forum basically helps to inform the public about the new upcoming breakthrough advancements in science and technology for the betterment of society. The FDA agency is responsible for all the scientific research that is used in regulatory decisions making to protect public health and promote wellness.

The FDA Science Forum is open to public health, patient advocates, the healthcare industry, current and potential collaborators, academia, government agencies, and sciences. The FDA Science Forum was organized in the month of March 2021 which offered a 2 -day opportunity to hear the FDA science experts and nationally renowned scientist on a range of subjects associated with the regulatory science to make the correct decision for benefit of people and society 

The topic for discussion at FDA Science Forum 

The theme of the FDA Science Forum 2021 “Science as a foundation of protecting and promoting public health. This will highlight the various areas and subjects of the FDA research including the following :

Improving clinical and diagnostic evaluation  Substance use, drug use, misuse, and addiction  Research and Development  Product development and manufacturing of products  Medical countermeasures  Infectious disease  Pathogen-reduction technology

The main Focus on FDA Science Forum 

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA agency) has announced the workshop which is a virtual public workshop entitled, “FDA Science Forum 2021”

Purpose of the FDA Science Forum 2021: The purpose is to keep the public updated about the new advancements conducted in the field of science and health. The FDA also focuses and shows the scientific research used in FDA’s regulatory decision to protect and promote health. 

The forum gives exciting opportunities for the public to indulge in research that is scientific and evidence-based. The forum showcased the collaborative efforts of 11,000 scientists. The Public gets a  chance to view the FDA researchers taking part in bringing about a change in novel science and technologies to inform FDA's regulatory decision making and drive innovation. 

This year the keynote speaker is NIAID Director Anthony Fauci, M.D
