At the polling stations there will be an arrangement of thermal scanner, hand sanitizer and hand gloves for electorates

In Bihar, a comprehensive plan has been chalked out to protect 7.69 lakh polling personnel from Covid-19. These polling staffs will be deputed during the three phases of state Assembly elections.

All the polling staff would go under compulsory health check-ups. The Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation (BMSICL) has been entrusted to supply the Covid-19 protective kits.

One packet of kit will contain one hand sanitizer, six three ply face masks, one face shield and two hand gloves. Security personnel deployed at polling stations will also get Covid -19 protective kit.

In the first phase around 2.26 lakh polling personnel will be catered. The State Health Department Secretary Pratayaya Amrit said these protective kits are being packed at different districts.

The voters will have to undergo compulsory thermal scanning. At the polling stations there will be an arrangement of thermal scanner, hand sanitizer and hand gloves for electorates.
