Significance of National Doctor's Day and the role of doctors during a pandemic

A 'Great Doctor' is known for practicing the profession. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has once again shown us the selfless and extraordinary hard work that medical professionals are providing to people in these difficult times. Many doctors have had to shift for 16 hours and more to take care of the large number of patients arriving. Many other doctors are taking care of COVID patients and isolating themselves from their families to fight the pandemic. They play an important role in diagnosis, prevention, and treatment, and their commitment to treatment despite increased individual risk is essential to a successful public health response. Frontline workers are experiencing high work volumes, personal risks, and societal pressures to meet the extraordinary demands of healthcare.

We cannot forget the efforts, dedication, and hard work put in by the doctors during this pandemic. We should respect doctors and all their efforts towards mankind.
