Bengaluru, 08th September 2026:  Project Khushi, a structured, evidence-based health and wellness initiative aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of Bengaluru City police personnel began on September 8.
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Shri Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS inaugurated the programme that will benefit hundreds of police personnel of the Electronic City Division.
Through Project Khushi, Happiest Health, Titan Company Limited, and Bangalore Indiranagar Rotary Trust aim to support a structured approach to preventive health and wellness, encouraging Bengaluru City Police personnel to make informed and sustainable lifestyle choices that contribute to their long-term health and well-being.
“While we have seen our personnel benefit from the three-month programme, the aim is for them to build long-term habits to lead healthier lives," said Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Shri Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS. "This is being expanded to involve more of our personnel to get structured intervention for their health that will benefit the police force."
Project Khushi conducted a successful pilot project in September 2025, in which participants showed significant improvement in their health and wellness.
Following health assessments conducted before and after the programme, 61% of participants recorded a reduction in blood sugar levels, 70% corrected their Vitamin B12 deficiency, and 59% reduced their weight by between 0.5 kg and 6.1 kg. Participants also reported improvements in stress management, sleep, digestion, physical activity and overall energy levels, highlighting the impact of simple and sustainable lifestyle changes.
" Our pilot project with the Bengaluru City Police has shown that if we encourage people to adopt good lifestyle practices, it helps them lead a healthier life," said Raghu Krishnan, CEO and Chief Editor, Happiest Health Knowledge. "While there is a lot of buzz around longevity, our focus is on people leading a better healthspan".
The programme is supported by Titan Company Ltd, India’s leading as part of their CSR initiative. Mr. N. E. Sridhar, Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, Titan Company Ltd said, "Police personnel work tirelessly under demanding conditions to keep our communities safe. Through Project Khushi, Titan is proud to support a structured health and wellness program that focuses on preventive care, awareness and sustainable behaviour change. We are delighted to partner with Bengaluru City Police, Happiest Health and BIRT in promoting the long-term well-being of those who serve society every day."
BIRT is a partner in this initiative. Gopinath Narayanan, President, Rotary Bangalore Indiranagar and Chairman, Bangalore Indiranagar Rotary Trust (BIRT) said, "Our police force are our visible and invisible heroes guarding us and protecting us to be safe in the city. Their health is of utmost importance. The initiative by Happiest Health to provide health camps and medical advice to police officials will go a long way in having a happier police force.
“Rotary has a theme People of Action. This project fits into that perfectly. It is an honour to be associated with Happiest Health, Bangalore City Police and Titan Company"
Building on these learnings, the next phase of Project Khushi will commence with the Electronic City division under the leadership of M. Narayana, IPS, DCP, Electronic City. Project Khushi by Happiest Health for Bengaluru City Police, supported by Titan Company Limited and partner Bangalore Indiranagar Rotary Trust (BIRT).
The programme will cover 600 participants over three years. The first batch will undertake a three-month physical and digital health and wellness programme from September 8 to December 6, 2026, combining digital engagement with regular in-person sessions.
The initiative is designed to encourage sustainable lifestyle changes through a combination of expert-led wellness interventions, health education and regular engagement. Participants will have access to sessions covering key areas such as cardiac health, weight management, diabetes, metabolic health, sleep, yoga, nutrition and mindfulness, along with digital health and wellness content throughout the programme.
As part of the programme, participants will also undergo health assessments including blood tests, BMI, hip-waist ratio, and weight management assessments, along with wellness surveys to help track their progress through the programme.
Project Khushi will conclude with a comprehensive assessment of the participants' 90-day wellness journey, with a programme report capturing their progress from Day 1 to Day 90.
