City Imaging & Clinical Labs Plans to Offer Hospital Lab Management(HLM) Services to over 50-bedded Hospitals to revolutionize Patient Care Across North India.

New Delhi, October 2024: City Imaging & Clinical Labs, one of India's premier diagnostic chains, is set to make a profound impact on hospital laboratory management by expanding its services across North India. The company is currently associated with 10 hospitals, providing comprehensive lab management services, including 24/7 in-house phlebotomy and lab testing. Several of these labs are NABL accredited, ensuring the highest standards of care and diagnostics.

City Imaging & Clinical Labs has ambitious plans to grow its network, offering world-class laboratory services to hospitals with 50 or more beds. The goal is to extend its footprint across North India over the next five years, supported by cutting-edge technology, a dedicated corporate quality assurance (CQA) team, highly experienced Pathologists, and an advanced Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Dr. Aakaar Kapoor, CEO of City Imaging & Clinical Labs, said, "Our vision is to provide round-the-clock, high-quality diagnostic services to hospitals, ensuring that they meet global standards. We believe that integrating our advanced lab management services will not only enhance diagnostic accuracy but also significantly improve treatment outcomes for patients."

"Our initiative will transform how hospital labs are managed in India. From existing numbers of Hospital Labs, we plan to offer the services to over 50 hospitals with 50 beds and above across north India by March 2027. In the next five years, we would take it to over 50 Hospitals. With our expertise, hospitals will be better equipped to deliver superior patient care and identify critical conditions before they become life-threatening,"added Dr. Kapoor.

City Imaging & Clinical Labs is committed to delivering accurate, timely, and reliable diagnostics, which directly influence patient treatment outcomes. Dr. Kapoor emphasized the crucial role of precise diagnostics, said, "The quality of medical reporting is fundamental to the success of any treatment. Misdiagnoses or delays can lead to poor treatment outcomes, which is why we focus so heavily on quality and accuracy."

The expansion of these services will provide hospitals with the tools and expertise needed to detect and treat conditions before they escalate, thus improving patient outcomes and saving lives. Further, it would ensure that the clinical team can focus on clinical work without having to bother about diagnostic services.

City Imaging & Clinical Labs places a strong emphasis on continuous professional development for its lab personnel. Dr. Kapoor added, "We ensure that our lab staff receive the same level of training and development opportunities as those in our main laboratories. Our centralized QA team ensures consistent, world-class standards across all centers, motivating our staff and ensuring uniform quality." Also critical reports directly communicated to the Clinicians/Doctors on duty and closely monitors the internal quality controls online in addition to monitoring by site technical team. In few HLM models, we also provide Radiology services like X-Ray & in few other centres, images of X-Ray, CT & MRI  are transmitted via PACS & reported via Teleradiology.

The company is focused on fostering an environment where staff are not only skilled but also motivated to maintain the highest standards of diagnostic care.

Its risk management protocol includes a dedicated vertical for safeguarding the physical and mental health of its lab personnel, as well as securing their financial future.
