If Period cramps haunt you every month, you are not alone. Most of the women feel discomfort due to cramps in periods. Abdominal pain during periods, the problem of feeling restless starts from the first day itself. Period cramps can affect a woman's routine. Some measures can be taken to avoid this pain. Start following these remedies sometime before the periods.

To avoid cramps during periods, identify the symptoms of periods in advance. If you track the periods, then you can change your diet and routine like increasing the amount of water, not eating unhealthy etc.

With the help of exercise, period cramps can be avoided. When exercising, endorphins are released from the body. With the help of these hormones, period cramps can be avoided. Exercising improves blood flow in the body, which provides relief from pain in periods.

Consuming adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals is beneficial to avoid period cramps. Consuming vitamin B1 and magnesium provides relief from pain during periods. Whole grains, nuts and seeds, beans, spinach and oranges can be consumed for these vitamins.
