In Nagaland, there is not a single fresh case of COVID-19 detected yesterday, while 23 recovery cases have brought down the number of active cases to 251 in the State. According to the daily COVID-19 bulletin issued by Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department yesterday, out of the 11,897 confirmed cases in the State, 23 patients recovered yesterday, 10 from Mon, 7 in Dimapur and 6 in Kohima. With these recoveries, the number of recovered persons increased to 11,438. With this, it has improved the recovery rate to 96.14 per cent which is above the national recovery rate of 95.82 per cent. Altogether 78 COVID-19 infected patients have died in the State, out of which, 10 had comorbid conditions and 130 patients have migrated to other States.

Meghalaya reported one of the lowest COVID-19 cases as only three new cases were reported in the state today. Directorate of Health Services informed that a total of 30 people also recovered on the same day. The number of active cases now stands at 199 with East Khasi Hills having 140 active cases. The death toll in the state stands at 138 while a total of 13,042 people have recovered from the virus so far. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya have reached 13,379.

In Mizoram, the number of active cases Covid-19 has dropped down to 127. As the recovery of Covid-19 related patients is on the rise, the recovery rate has improved to 96.81% as of today. In the past 24 hours, the state has recorded two new positive cases while three patients recovered from the coronavirus infection. According to the state medical bulletin, the Covid-19 tally has reached 4184, whereas 4,049 infected people have recovered from the infection.

In Tripura, with the number of recovery in Covid-19 cases is increasing, the number of active caseload is also dropping. As of today the number of active cases has dropped down to 141. So far in the state 32,688 patients have been cured, out of the total 33,237 positive cases recorded so far. According to the state health bulletin, the recovery rate has further improved to 98.42%. In the past 24 hours, eleven new cases were recorded along with the recovery of 16 infected people.
The health bulletin also stated that over 5.73 lakh samples have been tested till yesterday evening.
