▴ Madhya Pradesh :COVID Fatality rate declines to 1.5 pct
The average positivity rate of Madhya Pradesh is 5.4 percent while the death rate is 1.5 percent.
In Madhya Pradesh, more than 2 lakh 12 thousand 351 patients have recovered from COVID-19 so far.


One thousand 326 patients were discharged from the hospitals in the last 24 hours. One thousand 161 new cases of COVID-19 were reported yesterday taking the total number of cases to  2 lakh 27 thousand 949.

The death toll due to COVID-19 has risen to 3 thousand 442 as 9 patients succumbed to the infection.  There are  12 thousand 156 active cases in Madhya Pradesh at present.

The average positivity rate in the state is 5.4 percent while the death rate is 1.5 percent.

Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman said that there are adequate beds and ventilators in government and private hospitals for COVID-19 patients.

Sufficient beds are also being made available to patients suffering from other diseases in medical colleges and hospitals.
