26 out of the total 36 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Haryana's Gurugram are cured and discharged, bringing the number of positive cases down to 10.
Nine out of the 16 coronavirus positive patients from Sohna Raipur area in Gurugram, linked to the Tablighi Jamaat event, have tested negative.
In all, out of total 16 Tablighi Jamaat-linked coronavirus patients in Gurugram, 12 have been cured and been discharged.
Four fresh cases that were reported on Sunday among the new cases, a jail warden posted in Gurugram tested positive for the infection after he resumed duty from leave.
The warden was on leave since April 9 and had visited his hometown in Bhiwani district. He was tested for the infection when he showed its symptoms on joining duty.
The coronavirus count rose to 250 in Haryana with 18 more people, including a jail warder and a health worker, testing positive for the infection on Sunday.
The authorities said an auxiliary nurse midwife (ANM) who worked in a containment zone in Ambala also tested positive for the infection.Ambala Chief Medical Officer Dr Kuldeep Singh said the other three patients from the district were members of a family which lived at Sahjadpur village near Ambala City.
The total active Covid-19 patients in the state are 144, the bulletin said, adding that so far 104 patients have been discharged from hospitals.
The state has so far reported two coronavirus deaths.
Meanwhile,with 125 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, the total coronavirus cases in the national capital reached 3,439 on Wednesday with toll mounting to 56 with two more deaths.
A total of 14 patients have recovered on Wednesday, according to the Delhi Health Bulletin.
India wise :1718 new cases and 67 new fatalities in 24 hours, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country climbed to 33050 on Thursday morning, the Union Health Ministry said.
Of the total cases, 23651 are active, 8324 people have recovered, and 1074 people have succumbed to the disease.
The total tally includes 111 foreign nationals, the Health Ministry said.
Maharashtra remained the worst-hit state with the total number of cases rising to 9915, with 432 deaths, however, 1593 people also recovered from the deadly virus. Gujarat was the next which reported 4082 cases so far followed by Delhi which has reported 3439 cases, according to the Health Ministry data.
